Money Doesn't Have to Be Complicated
Most people never learned how money actually works. Not in school. Not from family. We're changing that. Our budget foundations program breaks down financial concepts into clear steps you can follow.
Starting September 2025, we're running a structured six-month course for anyone ready to take control of their finances. No confusing jargon. Just practical skills you'll use every week.

What You'll Actually Learn
Six modules designed to build on each other. We start with tracking where your money goes and end with creating systems that work without constant attention.
Tracking Reality
Before you can change anything, you need to see what's really happening. We'll show you simple methods to track spending without making it a second job.
Weeks 1-4Building Your First Budget
Not the restrictive kind that makes you miserable. A realistic plan that accounts for how you actually live while moving you toward specific goals.
Weeks 5-8Handling Irregular Income
Freelancers and business owners face different challenges. This module covers creating stability when your paycheck varies month to month.
Weeks 9-12Emergency Planning
Something always comes up. Car repairs. Medical expenses. Job changes. We'll help you build a buffer that keeps these events from derailing everything.
Weeks 13-16Debt Strategy
If you have debt, we'll create a clear payoff plan. If you don't, we'll cover how to use credit strategically without falling into common traps.
Weeks 17-20Automated Systems
The best budget is one you don't have to think about daily. Final module focuses on setting up systems that run themselves and adjusting when life changes.
Weeks 21-24
Real Progress Takes Time
We're upfront about this: meaningful financial change doesn't happen overnight. Our program runs for six months because that's how long it takes to build habits that actually stick.
From Guessing to Knowing
Most participants start with only a vague idea of their monthly expenses. By week eight, they can tell you exactly where money goes and identify specific areas to adjust.
From Reacting to Planning
Financial stress often comes from unexpected expenses feeling like emergencies. Our students learn to anticipate irregular costs and build them into their monthly planning.
From Overwhelmed to In Control
When you understand the numbers and have a clear system, decisions become simpler. That's the shift we see happening around the fourth month of the program.
Common Questions About the Program
Do I need any financial background to join?
Not at all. We start from the basics and assume you're coming in with little formal financial education. If you can add and subtract, you have the math skills needed. Everything else we teach step by step.
How much time does this require each week?
Plan for about three hours of structured learning plus another hour for practical exercises. Early weeks might take slightly longer as you set up your tracking system. Later modules often go faster because you've built the foundation.
What if I miss a week or fall behind?
Life happens. All materials stay accessible so you can catch up on your schedule. We also run monthly review sessions where you can ask questions about earlier modules.
Is this relevant for Vietnamese market conditions?
Yes. While core budgeting principles are universal, we include specific examples and scenarios relevant to working professionals in Vietnam. Currency, local banking practices, and regional financial considerations are all addressed.
When does the next program start?
Our next cohort begins September 15, 2025. Enrollment opens in July. We keep group sizes manageable to ensure everyone gets attention during live sessions, so spots do fill up.
What Past Participants Say
These are real people who completed our 2024 program. Results vary because everyone starts from different situations, but the process works when you stick with it.
I'd been meaning to get my finances sorted for years. What helped most was having a structured timeline. Each week built on the last, so by month four I had systems running that I still use daily. The irregular income module was particularly useful for my consulting work.
The biggest shift for me was moving from feeling anxious about money to feeling in control. Not because my income changed dramatically, but because I finally understood where it was going and had a plan. The emergency fund module gave me peace of mind I didn't know I was missing.
